The Howard Center Groundbreaking

May 30, 2017

Roman Catholic High School held a ceremonial groundbreaking for The Howard Center for the Arts today.

The school is adding a 40,000 s.f. high tech space for its Fine and Performing Arts programs. The Howard Center for the Arts will include a Black Box Theatre, rehearsal space for music and choral groups, individual lesson rooms, ceramic studios, classrooms for drama and mixed media, a computer-aided design lab, a digital photography classroom, and a piano lab; as well as storage and office space. Roman will make the Center available to community arts groups for small dramatic and musical productions.

This addition is the initial stage of the school’s A Vision of Promise campaign. While previous expanisons at Roman have been through additions to the original building at Broad and Vine, the current plan makes use of available land to develop new structures. The Howard Center is a block away.

Aegis has a long relationship with Roman Catholic, having provided project management services for previous renovations as well as real estate advisory services throughout the years.
