AtlantiCare Radiology Renovation and Expansion at Mainland Hospital

AtlantiCare renovated and expanded their existing radiology department into under utilized square footage within the hospital.

The project was completed in four phases that included coordinated abatement activities as well as construction of the following licensed modalities: Cat scans, nuclear medicine, x-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, and ultrasound rooms.

This project required very detailed design and equipment coordination to ensure that each phase included all code required spaces in order to open immediately after completion. Detailed equipment surveying, coordination, and procurement coordination were also necessary to decrease the disruption to the active radiology services keeping all modalities operational throughout the construction of the project.
