Renovation of Endoscope Reprocessing department to improve throughput to double the volume of scopes that are processed as well as improve processing methods.

The project included renovation and installation of new equipment for the existing decontamination room, replacing a single station with two 2-bowl stations and High Level Disinfection with improved layout and installation of Medivator AER disinfectors that improved the efficiency as well as qualification process for scope disinfection.

This project had to be closely coordinated for construction and equipment, as well as state regulatory approvals as it needed to be completed within only two weeks in order to minimize down time for a very active surgery center.
