Built in 1902, 1515 Chestnut Street was previously 75% occupied as a Class B office building with ground floor retail along Chestnut Street. The building has been vacated of its office tenants and is being developed to include 180 affordably priced well-appointed residential apartments. The proposed design includes a mix of studios (35%), one bedroom units (50%), two bedroom units (15%), and a lounge and fitness center on the top floor.

The conversion of the building to multifamily is by right and the building is eligible for Section 47 Historic Tax Credits.
