Drexel University: Drexel Central

Drexel Central relocated the offices of the Bursar, Student Resource Center (Financial Aid) and University Registrar to one location in its Main Building to realize the University’s goal of a one-stop shop.

Aegis managed the Drexel Central project, a unique endeavor by Drexel to provide a comprehensive set of student services in one location.  As a new service within a renovated space in a historic building across from the President’s office, extensive planning and communication was required to ensure active systems within an occupied historic structure were not impacted throughout the construction phase.  Aegis worked closely with the design and construction teams, as well as University Facilities, to carefully plan all activities on site.  Additionally, with a very limited budget and short schedule, daily diligent management of costs and site activities was required to keep the project on track.
