Lafayette College: Acopian Engineering Center Renovations and Expansion

In 2019, upon the move of the Computer Science department to the new Rockwell Integrated Sciences Center, the Acopian fifth-floor classrooms were renovated to support the planned growth of the engineering student body. These renovations, plus those on the second and third floors, created flexible collaboration spaces, open computer labs, relief in tight corridors and better flow through the building.

In 2021, additional interior renovations included upgraded laboratory spaces and further collaboration areas. A partial expansion to the fifth-floor building square footage increased classroom spaces to support continued growth within the Engineering Division.
