New Jersey Economic Development Authority: Camden Aerospace Center

In a joint venture with financial partner BPG Properties, Ltd., Aegis Property Group developed this fast track project which was completed in less than two years. As Managing General Partner, Aegis Property Group staff was responsible for all aspects of development management, leasing and financing.

Located on a 22-acre site at the center of Camden’s waterfront redevelopment, the property includes a 225,000 s.f. manufacturing facility and a 350,000 s.f. office building. The development was 100 percent preleased and is fully occupied by L3 Communications (formerly General Electric Company’s Aerospace Division).

Financing was provided by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Camden County and other public and private entities. The project was designed by Ballinger and constructed by L.F. Driscoll Company.
