The Philadelphia School Phased Renovations

As part of The Philadelphia School’s Ours to Shape five-year plan, the school completed a master planning process, identifying three key areas of focus that will enhance place-based learning for students and teachers to create flexible learning and communal spaces, revitalize the Lombard Yard, redesign primary classrooms, and reimagine the entire level.

Construction work will be done in phases on tight schedules over summer breaks with the first phase occurring in summer 2023 to include renovation of the play yard and landscaping along 25th Street, as well as interior renovations including the lobby, multipurpose room, restrooms, new learning kitchen, and new office and storage spaces.
