Towers Perrin relocated their southern New Jersey call center operations to Woodcrest Corporate Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. The new location, a long vacant 335,000 s.f. steel fabrication plant, underwent a substantial conversion by its owner to upgrade the building core and shell to accommodate Towers Perrin’s space requirement under a long-term lease agreement. Aegis was responsible to oversee the owner’s obligations under the lease and manage Towers Perrin’s interior fitout requirements.
Built prior to the advent of LEED certification, the project implemented numerous sustainable design features including extensive glazing and skylights to bring daylight into the large floorplate and a white roof. The completed building was organized around a central “town center” containing food service, meeting spaces both formal and casual, along with connecting “streets” to the various office neighborhoods.
Other team members include H2L2 and Wick Fisher White (tenant improvement architectural engineering services) and Turner Construction Company (tenant improvement general contractor).
