Located on the second floor of the Virtua Voorhees Health and Wellness Center, the suite has specialized imaging and radiology services. The Center is in partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for pediatric imaging and radiology services.
The program includes two magnetic resonance imaging machines (MRIs) at 1.5T and 3.0T field strengths, as well as a PET CT, SPECT CT, fluoroscopy, general x-ray, and ultrasound machines. The suite also includes areas for the sedation of pediatric patients, managed by CHOP, to better serve younger patients as they undergo various imaging treatments. Finally, the suite is located on the second floor of the Health and Wellness Center, allowing the program key adjacency to the imaging department in Virtua’s hospital, as well as scenic outdoor views of the campus from the treatment rooms.
The building was developed by Frauenshuh Real Estate Healthcare Solutions, designed by HGA, Inc. and constructed by Gilbane Building Co.
