Virtua Health Mount Holly Care Optimization Project

The Care Optimization project will contemporize the former Virtua Memorial Hospital (now known as Virtua Mount Holly with the advent of this project), expand niche service offerings, and improve the overall flow of operations for patients, visitors, and staff.

Highlights of the project include Emergency Department expansion, surgery suite renovation and expansion, progressive care inpatient unit, medical/surgical inpatient units, public and support spaces, new operating rooms, new labs and medical suites, and renovated hospital units. The plan also provides new spaces and refreshes that will impact the following programs/areas: CCU, PCU, Med/Surgical, Women’s, and Equipment Depot.

There will be new north and east entrances and lobbies, a new west connector to existing buildings, gift shop, and conference and education center. The project will also address infrastructure by expanding the Central Utility Plant.
