YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School purchased a vacant former PECO showroom at 2309 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia to transform into its a community hub for students and alumni.
YouthBuild’s new home includes 15 classrooms, specialized on-site training facilities for each of its workforce development tracks, gathering and presentation areas, dedicated administration space, storage, and outdoor space for sustainable gardens and socialization. Construction began in May 2023 and completed in August 2024.
